بررسی رابطه رشد بنگاه با رشد توانمندی فناوری در بخش هوافضا: شرکت‌های دانش‌بنیان با رشد سریع کدامند؟

چکیده

در این مقاله دو مسئله اساسی پیشروی محققان قرار داشته است اول بررسی رابطه میان رشد شرکتها و رشد توانمندیهای فناوری و دوم پیدا کردن ویژگیهای شرکتهای با رشد سریع و اینکه توانمندیها چه تثیری در رشد سریع آنها دارند مطالعه موردی شرکت دانشبنیان موفق در حوزه هوافضا که همه آنها به تولید تجهیزات مختلف در این حوزه میپردازند نشان داد که رابطهای معنادار و قابل اعتنا میان رشد شرکتها و رشد توانمندیهای فناوری برقرار است یافتهها همچنین نشان دادهاند که شرکتهای با رشد سریع در این صنعت آنهایی هستند که از راهبرد تنوع محصول و کسبوکار استفاده کردهاند و آنهایی که بر توسعه مقیاس محصول قدیمی خود باقی مانده نتوانستهاند از رشد سریعی برخوردار شوند به این ترتیب پارادایم رشد در این صنعت مخالف مراحل رشد چندلری بوده و اتکا به بالا بردن حجم تولید نمیتواند راهبرد مناسبی برای شرکتهای این حوزه قلمداد شود با بررسی میزان رشد شرکتها آنها به سه دسته تقسیم شدهاند آنهایی که هیچگونه تنوعی نداشتهاند آنهایی که از تنوع محصول استفاده کردهاند و آنهایی که به تنوع کسبوکار روی آوردهاند ویژگیهای سه دسته فوق در ارتباط با توانمندیها بررسی شده که نشان میدهد توانمندیهای محصول و مدیریت پروژه در ارتقا رشد شرکتها بسیار مهم میباشند

Examining the Relations between Firms Growth and the Growth of Technological Capabilities in the Aerospace Industry What are the Characteristics of HighGrowth Knowledge based FirmsEbrahim Souzanchi KashaniSina Kamjoo Bagheri Ali Anvari Assistant Professor Graduate School of Management and Economics Sharif University of Technology Tehran Iran Student of MBA Graduate School of Management and Economics Sharif University of Technology Tehran IranAbstractThis research concerns about two critical problems First the relation between firms growth and the growth of their technological capabilities and second the characteristics of the highgrowth firms Through case study of nine successful companies in the aerospace manufacturing industry the first problem shows a meaningful relationship between the two aforementioned factors Our analysis of the second aspect reveals that highgrowth firms are characterized by diversification strategy Therefore the growth pattern in this industry is in contrast to Chandlers model suggesting the volume expansion in the initial stages We divided firms into three distinct categories those with no diversification strategy others with product diversification strategy and finally firms with business diversification strategy The differences of their pattern of technological capabilities then have been analyzed and some recommendations for policy are suggested at the endKeywords Firms Growth Technological Capability HighGrowth Diversification Strategy
